I graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2017 with a first class honours in History and a second major in Politics & International Studies.
I have always had a keen interest in socio-political and foreign policy issues, with a particular focus on the Asia Pacific region. I honed my writing skills while interning at the Straits Times Money Desk as part of my Diploma in Mass Communication from Ngee Ann Polytechnic. I was part of the corporate communications team at ETPL (the technology transfer arm of A*STAR) from 2013-14, where I assisted in the publication of their corporate brochure and handbook for researchers.
Since July 2018, I’ve published a newsletter, the Historyogi Post (previously named Red Dot Digest), that aims to make Singapore and global history more accessible to general audiences and highlight important developments by researchers and journalists. In January 2021, I launched an accompanying podcast series, the Historyogi Podcast, as well as the Historyogi TikTok channel.
